This is where the wild rules all. And it began, with a scream. A humans scream, that is. All of the horses looked up and began to panic. They had been rounded up off the coast of their homeland, and were now being shipped somewhere on an uncertain old boat. There was another, louder, higher pitched scream, before there was silence. There was about twenty horses on the boat. Those twenty horses would be the founders of Shadari. Suddenly, the boat rocked, and shook. Humans up top shouted and yelled at each other, ordering and demanding. It was only seconds later that the boat came to an abrupt halt, throwing all of the horses to their sides. A light shone into the boats brig, and all of the horses turned, adjusting their eyes from the darkness, to the light. It was now seen that the hole was a portal into the new world. Shadari. Men and women kill, cheat, and steal like it's the frickin' apocalypse. But really? It's a way of life. When things aren't handed to you, you gotta take it. And what with a sudden burst of organized crime in the heart of Boston, things are really beginning heat up. Loyalties are tested. Alliances are formed. Hmm well her eyes did seem to be a bit larger than normal… but she should learn how to deal with it. Tough up. Yes his skin… his night loving skin was on fire, painful…but he will cope… it will make him slightly grumpy and irritated but it will happen. Hopefully no one pisses him off just yet. The bird… his self appointed queen, seemed to fly faster as the sun inclined in the sky. Yes his queen, she is queen of the night and he is the King… it is only fair.. and he will silently claim her as his. She had a brain, a mind… she was not intimidated, like other weak minded females… used for only on purpose in his lands… Breeding. She was… not fit to mate with, she was not ugly, but she was not strong.. but with her mind… and his. Bah who was he kidding, a great King like himself mix himself with a … bird, fucking his own meal. Would he warm up to her? Yes if she was the only female that he will not kill for sport. And when he says warming up… he means she is good enough to fuck. A gentle wolf he was. King shook his head lightly as he winced. Did the sun just get slightly hotter? Fuck the sun it can burn his hide to a crisp before he admits to being in pain. But a smirk crawled to his lips, and of course his eyes … did not match the humorous smirk… they were yelling ‘fuck off or die’ it seemed fitting. Suddenly the bird dived and he followed suit, a black hole-like shadow… her shadow for now. By now the sun was really starting to bother him, his lips were curled into a snarl and his eyes seemed to challenge everything. Grumpy? Yes, yes he was. Sleeping seemed nice, but he was vulnerable in a new land and all… and this King will not be caught off guard. Sleeping was not something he was worried about, he could go months. Would that be very smart, of course not sleeping for months dulled his instinct. So far he has gone a week without sleeping ever since he entered this land. His eyes burned, (not as badly as hers) they will take a while to adjust to the light if he so wishes to adjust. He would rather not, the night was his Kingdom… the light was foreign land. Fuck them light dwellers. But the large beast held back, she would greet… her ‘warbler’ and he will hang back … but only for a few seconds. Wait was it time to mess with someone’s day? Gol-… no King licked his lips… now this shall be fun. A stench filled his nostrils and he snorted curling his lips up into a snarl, what disgusting stench is that? But his thoughts were interrupted when Ajax attempted to land and he scoffed darkly as his mood was … well dark and grumpy as his whole body felt like it was going to blister… or maybe it already was. Fuck his skin, it can suck it up. He waited until his queen-bird friend had met… the warbler… and he himself landed gracefully… practiced. His night cloaks hung loosely at his flanks as he walked towards the being that was the owner of the stench… male… he hated the scents of other males it always held some sort of a challenge like he must always be on guard. But this one looked similar to the bird… but an ugly bird with a red face. Intimidating… ooo he was shaking all over. The other male seemed to be … displeased that he was here, taking his anger out on his sun weak sister. King lifted his head, this male was large, but not as large as himself. But he had some genetics… to help with that. It was a shame he was a mix… therefore his heirs would go either way. His dark expression shifted as the red faced vulture turned his ugly mug towards him. How dare stare at him like that. King spread his wings, hackles rising… King’s face twisted into a snarl glaring at the male, blaming him for being out in the fire heat. With his hackles raised… let more sun… more fire hit his skin… but he did not care. Will he keep it down…? That was a very good question. The other let a snarl escape his open maw, and King responded the same way except his mouth was shut… his lips curling over his pearly whites, long daggers. But dark black blue oceans glowered as his maw expression shifted into a smug smirk… his eyes revealing the opposite. ”I have heard much about you, vulture.” His dark gaze landed upon the pigeon pathetically snug under her bush of thorns. ”I suggest you reel your … brother in bird.” he spoke his eyes shifting again as a look of pure dislike wiped the smirk off his lips. Now to get the male to submit. ”Back down insect…” he growled lowly, his eyes seemingly darkened as he took a few steps forward. This male was not going to make his stay here any easier. Which was fine with him. Simple was boring. Notes: Well.... due to the fact that I have not rped in... two weeks... I apparently zoomed in and out of character. sooo...
