Congratulations to Kratos for character of the month! This character has taken on quite a challenge as a new alpha, especially dealing with all the pack members at once. This character obviously has the skills he needs to be a great alpha. We can't wait to see what you do with your large pack, Kratos!

It's a little pointless to carry on
when you feel the world you live in is strange
but that's when you smile
and show them your side for a change

||... The weather, so strange, so sudden, so unpredictable, had come crashing down upon the earth so, well, unpredictably, that it had shocked all living animals and forced them to take shelter. It had stormed, thundered, lightninged, rained, down poured, boomed, shook, flashed, popped... stormed, again. It had flashed yellow and white across the dark sky, despite the time of day, noon. The clouds had darkened to the gray of despair, of loss, of sadness, the sky shedding tears upon all the creatures of the earth, caught under it's wrath as it cried and screamed and yelled and shouted and hollered and boomed. But there was one thing the storm never did. It never flooded. This storm, that had been sweeping the lands every day in the time of the afternoon had yet to flood the dens no matter how much of it's wrath it threw in it's frustration. For these rocks, these dens fought back. They were warriors, battling to keep the animals that took refuge in them safe, like the protectors of the earth and of the land. For they were of the earth and the land and the nature and the soil and the foliage and the ground. They fought unarmed in the battle, and prevailed each and every time.

||... So the storm passed on, once more defeated in it's purpose, leaving the ground moist and puddled, but never flooded. And slowly the animals crept from their shelters, unscathed by the frightening storm and went back to daily rituals. Daily rituals each animal did without a real goal in life except to survive. And so did the orange brute emerge from his shelter as well. He shook as he stepped out of his den, the designated pack den, wedged tightly between two boulders and dug into the ground between them with brush covering the entrance in a sort of canopy way. Oh yes, the orange male was VERY proud of his den he had found and finished. He never quite understood why the foxes gave the den to him so willingly and left waving and laughing, but he didn't look back on it too much. (He didn't realize that HE was the one laughing and waving as the dead bodies floated off down stream).

||... And so the oddly hued male stepped out proudly, lifting his tail and muzzle high into the air and letting a huff fill his chest. The scents of wolves, his pack members, were strong in the air and he smiled proudly, his emerald necklace gleaming and glowing against his puffed out orange chest. He looked around, mushrooms towering above him as his strangely colored sky loomed over him, smiling and giggling innocently. He laughed himself and bounced forwards much like a young pup, his paws splashing in a puddle as rainbows sprayed from his steps. How fascinating! Again he splashed the water to see the same thing occur. And that was all it took to draw his mind away from the idea of calling his pack together and summoning them with a howl. Maybe they would find him and venture this way anyways? So he could hold that pack meeting he was planning on holding, of course!

.Bellezza.

Her feet carried her through the storm, though at times, she felt like she was being ripped away from the ground. Her lucent white fur was wet and stuck to her skin in odd positions by the time the storm was over. It would have been dumb to take cover, well, that's what she thought. Storms were the Gods asserting their authority over the beings of Earth, again, that's just what she thought. She thought a lot. And it never made sense, just randoms thoughts squashed together in her over-crowded mind. But she would have rather been random than the same as everyone else.

They could laugh at her because she was different, it didn't bother her, because on the inside, she was laughing because they acted the same. They reminded her of hunting caribou. All of the strange deer-like creatures were the same, except for the antler size. If one caribou sounded an alarm, they all ran, whether they saw the predator or not. They all made the same noise. Their coats were all the same color. They smelt the same, though some of the females had a milky scent to them when they were pregnant or if they had already given birth to a calf. And oh, how she liked the taste of calf. It was so different than full grown caribou. The meat was juicy and rich, more than a few bites and she would have had her more than enough to fill her stomach.

That thought whirl-winded her mind into another series of thoughts. First; her father always said she ate like a bird. What the hell did that mean? She did not peck her food, like a bird, she did not fish or fly to get her food, like a bird, and she did not have a beak, like a bird. So it was more of a insult than a compliment to her. Then she thought of the scent of rain. It was sweet and cold, it reminded her of innocence and that reminded her of a young pup. Why did she think this? It made no sense. It was strange. She was strange. Her paws slipped on the mud and she unsheathed her claws to catch herself.

A laughter filled the air and she froze. It was a kind laughter, a weird laughter, it made her want to laugh, she smiled and stepped through the bushes. There was Zrail. He was smiling, and jumping, and yipping like a pup that had caught it's first rabbit. He splashed into a puddle, then stared at the misty, colorful air for a moment then repeated the steps. She found him strange, but intriguing. And she sat and watched him for a few moments. Zrail looked like he was thinking, about what? She wondered. Her legs began to ache from sitting and he stood. Water dripped from her pelt and she shook it out in one graceful move, droplets of water flying threw the air. Hitting trees and bushes and the ground.

"Hello, Zrail." She dipped her head low and approached him submissively. "Are you enjoying the after-mass of the storm?"

Veins of lightning lit the ominous clouds, dancing white-hot energy illuminating the daytime sky. Maroon gems stared up, unblinking, and uncaring as the rain pelted down, soaked her obsidian pelt and bounced right off her spikes. Rain. It was the only thing she felt she could be welcomed by. It's cool drops chilling her skin from the once warm high noon sun. Mudd clung to her midnight black pelt, dotting it brown. The entire storm she just sat there, on the edge of the Ratna pack lands musing herself over the rain.

When the storm had carried on, Satori found it time to go check in with the Alpha. Paws trudged slowly the water puddles and mud. Uncaring that she was getting dirty. Why bother? If it rained again it would simply be washed off her belt and if not she could go find a water source and wash the mud off. Her tail swayed idly behind her as her maroon orbs took in all of her surroundings. Home; well home-in-process. She was still nothing more than a welcomed rogue to the Ratna, but all the same it was home to her. The only place that seemed to welcome her with out shunning her away because of her demented appearance.

Why? What made this pack any different from the others that shunned her? Sure they bore spikes, but nothing like hers. Nothing so menacing as the things spurting from her back all the way to her tail. Or her black pelt with maroon eyes that made people shudder with fear. So why? Why had Zrail accepted her as a rogue of Ratna? A frown marred Satori's dark features as she pushed on deeper into the pack. Why was she even bothering to question it? Why could she just not live with the fact he had accepted her into the pack.

With a dignified sniff she lifted her gaze to find she had walked nearly right into Zrail. She haulted in midstep immediately jerking back quickly putting distance between her and him. Her tail hung and she was quick to take her gaze away from him. She spotted that of another femora and looked her over with out the slightest curiosity. Why should she be curious about someone who might shun her? Oh man, was she ever the pesimistic and she was on a very low today. She sniffed again as she settled back on her haunches not saying a word to either unless they spoke to her first.

She smiled. But it wasn't a friendly smile, though it wasn't hostile either. She had scented the other female and wanted to know who it was. When the dark black wolf walked into plain sight she found it hard not to laugh out loud. The exact opposite of her was what the other she-wolf was. Her fur was dark black and her eyes were a shade of maroon. While she, herself, had silky white fur and ice blue eyes. Why did they call it ice blue? Ice was white. This time she really did chuckle. It was a warm sound, but she held back a full laugh.

"I'm Bellezza," she grinned. She shuffled her paws uneasily and jumped up a bit. "Who are you? Are of of Ratna?" That was a stupid question. Of course the other female had to be of Ratna, why else would she walk so confidently by Zrail.

She waited for reply and glanced back a Zrail, her eyes drifted over him cautiously and her smile grew a bit wider. Her eyes fell back to the ground and again she looked at the black female wolf.

Maroon gems leaped up, caught those of icey blue and held them. She was absolutely silent. Not giving an asnwer to her. Why? a self defense mechanism went off and now she felt defensive. Her fur ruffled a bit as she unblinkingly stared at the white she-wolf. Oh, she despsized beautiful wolves like her! One's who were accepted with out a second thought, just because they had a gorgeous pelt of snow. She sniffed indignantly again before forcing herself to calm down. She had no right to judge the white female now known as Belleza. And she definately did not need to be in a bad mood right now.

"If I was not of this pack I would not bother myself to be here..." She answered calmly, watching the white femora closely. She needed to make nice with the pack or she would remain the Ratna Rogue for a long while and her goal was to become a full fledged member of the pack. She lifted her cranium for a moment, in a thoughtful gesture as she almost seemed to ponder on something. "My curse is Satori..." She finally gave a name and took her gaze off Belleza. What would be the point in scaring someone on purpose this time? Okay so she knew she hated the way she looked, menacing and down right demented and all, but she did use it to her advantage on more than one occasion.

Quietly she breathed in the scent of the fresh air after a storm, felt the movement of water drops slid down her pelt and drip off the tips. Every noise she heard made her audits swivle and twitch, listening to it all. She had to admit she very much enjoyed listening to all the sounds of the earth. From the birds and their songs, to the night crickets and their calls. Even the slither of some snakes; so long as they kept their distance from her. It was in that thinking that she completely zoned out, forgot to pay attention to Bezzela and even Zrail if they began talking. Her maroon eyes staring off into the distant as if searching for something far out there.

Her curse? Bellezza's mind wandered for a few moments. What did that mean? Her curse? Why would she say that? What was her curse? Finally she broke her own silence. "Oh."

That was stupid Bellezza, she yelled at herself, why would you say that? 'Oh'! 'Oh' what? Say something! Don't stand there looking dumb. "Well, that does make sense." She bit her lip and held back another laugh. Why did she say that? Hell, she was going insane. But being insane felt so good. It was a wild, ignorant feeling and for once in her life Bellezza didn't care what the others thought of her. She didn't care what they looked at her like, or if they spoke to her in a rude tone.

She shivered, her white fur bristled a bit and she sighed. Oh, being insane was a great joy. Her eyes looked up at the sky and she twirled her claws around in a pool of water. The dirt, in between the pads of her paws, melted away and turned the water a light brown color. "Rain is amazing." Bellezza wasn't quite sure who she spoke to, but she did.

Give a little
Take a little
Push a little
Shove a little

||... The colors, flashing before his eyes, so mesmerizing, so pretty, so different, so blending, so amazing! And then he jumped and stomped his paw on the ground, sending the rainbows flying through the air once more as he looked up to see the white pelted female approaching and watching him. The mushrooms transformed right before his eyes, melting into trees, and his sky, his beautiful sky, shifted above him to the standard blue of reality, of the world he so hated living in. His bright green eyes looked the female over carefully. What was her name again? He had repeated it to remember it. Damnit. It's... Bell, Bella, Cinderela, no, Bellezza! That's what it was!

"Maybe. Maybe not. What about you, Bellezza?"

||... Of course, he could sense his other female, the black pelted one, hiding behind him, or rather, almost running right into him. His gaze shifted about as he watched Satori back peddle away from him and plant herself, not saying a word. He smiled at her, and then watched as Bellezza approached Satori and listened to their conversation. He could sense the tension in the air, like he had been able to sense the storm and had known to take shelter, unlike these two apparently had. But he watched still, interested in how they would react to one another. And as he watched, it seemed Bellezza was the one more confused than Satori, though both seemed fairly... uncomftorable.

"That it is, Bellezza. Just like looking onto two beautiful females, yin and yang, cooperating and getting along. And the line streaking down the center of them, dividing them."

||... Was Zrail embarrassed about what he had just said? Of course not! He was being honest and that was it. And he, being the line he had spoke of, laughed and ran towards the two, running between them and splashing a puddle into the air, aiming to wet the two down and ease the tension in the air with a game. What was this game you ask? Well, who could stay the most dry obviously! And so far, Zrail was winning. But would the females double team him, or even participate? He ran with a laugh and twisted his body around to face yin and yang head on, his orange pelt quite contrasting to the pair. He smiled happily, his eyes glowing as he shook and ruffled his fur, his tiny spikes showing their selves as they poked upwards, though not pointed, but dull at the ends. Then he jumped down onto his two front feet with his tail high in the air. Everything in his body said 'come and get me if you can!'

She laughed and tried to dodge the water but it splashed her fur she smiled. The awkwardness she had once felt was gone, she jumped into a puddle that was next to Zrail. Water went flying everywhere. She had succeeded in getting herself soaked. But that was fine, it just a game. A stupid pup game that they should not have been playing, but she didn't care because it was fun. Her blue eyes sparkled with amusement.

"Are there any rules to this game, Zrail?"
She chuckled, scooping up a little water in her paws and throwing it at him. She crouched down low, then stood a bit as she watched Zrail propel himself into the air. Her laughter filled the air once again. Why did she feel so happy? She felt like a pup again, which was odd because she never played this game when she a pup. Shaking out her fur once again, drops of water flew through the air like small, clear bullets. And she didn't care about anything now, just playing the game.

As though it was the heaven's last word, the sky had fallen for days more than he was willing to count. During this time, however, where the usual creature would seek shelter and fight for survival, this young wold fount this as the perfect opportunity to explore the land her new alpha called as his. She must have tracked over every inch of the place, listening to how the earth spoke to her, noticing any difference in the trees, or the lack of, in the rocks, every point of a river.
Some would question her sanity, when she chose to travel rather than to hide when there was such a risk of flood--but then again, the little rebel was far from average. How many wolves could you find, midst a storm, pushing themselves through dunes that were thick with mud and rain water. Aside from the few times she feared her life, getting caught within a sinkhole, she thoroughly enjoyed the time she'd spent exploring. And she knew fare well, if anything were to happen, knowing the land's aspects was something sure to come in handy, even possibly save her life, or even the pack's lives.
Obvious enough... the adolescent wolf wasn't quite your average adolescent, intent on playing and enjoying themselves--oh, no, her mind was far too advanced for that... even if on appearance it did not seem as such, and she was rather far from surefooted.

As the rain finally began to cease, she'd found herself at the rocky part of the Ratna territory. This is where she felt the lost at home--not to mention that the rain hadn't been trying to was her away while she traveled, moreover, it couldn't. Possibly, this was why she liked the place so much.. she could enjoy the fall of the rain without the risk of drifting away in flood water, or sinking in some type of dense sand.
She considered herself fortunate when she caught the scent of not only Zrail, but a few others. She hadn't been aware of the fact that she was among the first in the pack, nor that she would fall as the youngest. All she knew is that there must have been some type of a meeting that either she was late for, or that she had no business attending. Regardless of the second possibility, the adolescent lowered a bit and began a sort of stalk toward those scents. Due to the lack of foliage, she doubted the fact that her presence could go unseen, even if she did take cover behind any stone between herself and the three.
She took slow, silent breaths as she focused on nothing but her goal.. here was where she had talent. It was as though she were part of the terrain(aside from the fact that she was black, white, green, and had huge antlers protruding from her skull). Her ears flicked forward, high up on her head to catch the voices that drifted downwind. Introductions? This couldn't be anything too formal or anything of the sort--they all seemed cheerful. However, this did not mean she would pop out and expose herself so vulnerably.
She continued this way for some time, very carefully keeping her head low enough to hide her antlers behind the rocks. She glanced around one of the boulders, and caught glimpse of the game at hand, Zrail and the two females(though only one appeared to be participating). This display was what assured her it was, in fact, a casual affair and if she walked in there would be no problem--or she hoped as much.

Very slowly, she moved out into the open, her head and tail riding up to a more relaxed position. She did not move in too near, nor did she speak a word--no, her mind did enough speaking as it was. From her view, and knowledge of powerful alpha wolves, Zrail seemed to be falling out of that category. However, she made her choice, and she knew to stay to the pack--even if she wanted to leave. This was what they wanted so she would obey without a word.
Smoothly, she lowered herself to the ground beside one of the infamous puddles that became part of the game she did not want to participate in. It was too... childish... and though she was just a pup still, she found no want to stoop so low. Oh, no, this young wolf was raised too differently for that. She was tought such standards, that even if the others did not do so, she would stand mature, brave, and proud.

A new scent filled her nose and she stopped playing and turned around. Her previously wild face had turned mature and serious. "Hello." She said to the new female, unsure of what else to say. She had already demanded the identity of one other wolf, and she felt like it was someone else's turn. Zrail, possibly? He was the alpha of the Ratna pack. So she just sat there, not caring that she was soaked to the bone and her fur stuck up in jagged clumps.

For the second time that day, she wasn't embarrassed. She didn't care what the new female thought of her, it was her sweet ignorance. A candy. It was a drug, and she was taking it all in, with no guilt. Oh, how ashamed her father would have been. He would have taken her aside and given her a long lecture about how female wolves are supposed to behave. Dignified. Confident. Humble. They have to take compliments and act like they are ugly, which she didn't get! If you were beautiful, why not flaunt it? She was not acting like good girls should have.

This new female wolf was different. She had large antlers sprouting from the top of her head, her fur was a dark black, very much like Satori's. Though both females held themselves quite differently. A smile pursed her own white muzzle and she couldn't help but laugh. There was Zrail, who was definitely different with his lucent orange fur. Satori, who had beautiful maroon eyes. The new female, who had antlers, which were amazingly cool. And then there was herself. She had icy blue eyes and a pale white pelt. Not to mention sharp spikes on her back and her joints, but she didn't feel out of place. In fact, she felt totally in place.

Ratna was her new home, and she liked it. Though none of the four wolves there looked alike, she felt like it was a sort of family. And she laughed again. The warm sound could penetrate even the coldest of souls. Everything was funny! Very, very funny, for no reason at all.

Aoi sighed.
Another depressing day… He thought.
Don’t get him wrong, he loved rain. But today, it just dampened his spirits. He silently licked a white paw and sat under a tree with branching leaves to shelter him. He plopped himself down, shaking the leaves and causing a massive amount of rain to pour down on him. He stood still, soaking wet and sighed once again, his blue tipped ears sinking lower and lower. Peering up at the sky with his golden eyes, the black wolf noticed that the clouds were clearing.
Oh… GREAT. He thought with great sarcasm. A short shower.
Rolling his eyes, he crawled from his shelter and shook his fur out. Aoi sniffed the air and drank in the scents of those around him.
Zrail, fresh. And a few other females. I don’t remember their names. More scents drifted towards him in a soft breeze. Oh it’s, Belleza. He had seen the female around but never really bothered to talk to her. The rest of the scents he didn’t recognise but he knew them to be of Ratna.
Obviously. He said to himself, rolling his eyes.
He padded along slowly, heading towards the Rock Patch. He couldn’t think of a more unusual place to meet. But, considering that he had nothing to do, he decided to go anyway.

As he approached, he carefully picked his way across the gravel and boulders. Accidentally putting a paw on a sharp rock, he pulled it back with a whimper. Blood welled up from a small cut on his paw pad. Licking his paw, ears flattened against his skull, he made his way across to the gathering wolves again. Now that he was in the presence of the alpha, his white banded tail lifted slightly and his golden eyes looked up. Not a normal response from a low ranking wolf like him to an alpha. But he liked Zrail though he hoped that the alpha wouldn’t take offence.
“Hi.” He spoke softly, a small grin playing on his lips. “You guys seem to be having fun.”
Aoi sighed, his smile fading. Something felt like it was weighing down on him but he ignored it and gave a half-hearted attempt at a smile.

But as the other female came towards the small meet, his spirits lifted slightly although he didn’t know why. It just made him feel… happy. He decided to give a go at remembering their names.
“Zrail, Belleza, I don’t know you nor you.” He murmured, pointing at the other two. (He’s not the embarrassed type) One had dark, almost sinister maroon eyes though it had something pleasant in them (to Aoi anyway) and the other had curving antlers protruding from her skull. He looked at them, bemused.
“It seems like we have an odd assortment of wolves here.” He chuckled softly, flicking his blue tipped ears. He felt his depression lift very slowly in the presence of the four wolves. He gave a lopsided grin.

A lil' note about Aoi...

He's two years old, belongs to the Mistera species, lives in Ratna, loves/crushes no one and has birthed none. That's Aoi!

She turned her blue gaze to the new wolf that had joined the little party. She smiled and was happy that she remembered his name. "Hello Aoi." And to her surprise he knew her name as well. 2 out of the 5 wolves gathered there knew her name before she had to tell them, and Satori knew after she had told her. 3/5. Not so bad. Or it could have been horrible. Maybe they all knew her name but didn't act like it, but what would they act like if they new it. Why was she thinking about this?

Bellezza, she thought, you're going insane, deary. But that's quite alright, because I know I'd rather be insane than sane. Following the rules would be such a drag, and wasn't there a saying about that? Ah, yes! Rules are meant to be broken. What a odd thought it was. She had been given no rules, yet. But then she remembered. She had one rule. A rule that she didn't know how to break. Whatever Zrail said was law. She could argue, but what would the point be? She needed a motive.

The new, male wolf spoke again and she watched him. The smile still hung onto her mouth. "Oh, but odd is good. Because if we were all normal it would be odd." Did that even make sense? Who cared! Not her. She laughed out loud, which she seemed to be doing a lot lately. It was fun. Not making any sense was enjoyable.

(ooc: Hurray, worst post ever. My muse is gone and I am learning to play the violin for the first time today.)

Shut up and put your money where your mouth is
that's what you get for waking up in vegas
get up and shake the glitter off your clothes now
that's what you get for waking up in vegas

||... Zrail's immediate reaction was to jump away and lift a front leg up to protect his face and eyes as he pinned his ears backwards, the water splashing his side and soaking his orange fur down on his neck and left shoulder. Zrail laughed as he looked back at Bellezza and then planted his raised paw into the water, sending water flying through the air, succeeding in soaking down his stomach as he did so. If anything, this sure felt good compared to the humid heat in the air after the storm. That was one downside, Zrail felt, about rain. It was wonderful to play in afterwords, but the humid heat seemed murderous to him.

||... Again Zrail turned his head away and flattened his ears when Bellezza scooped the water up at him and threw it. Zrail shook and chuckled as he suddenly bolted towards her and jumped into a puddle right next to her, succeeding in sending water every direction except up it seemed. But then she got him back as she shook, causing Zrail to turn away, chuckling under his breath and smiling. Once she had finished shaking, he took his turn to shake, starting at his head and shaking rapidly as he spread him self out through the shake, his 'mane' flopping back and fourth along his neck as he did so. When he finished, his necklace was still swinging back and fourth at his chest, and he quickly lifted a paw to stop it from swinging.

"Erm... no biting?"

||... He said kindly as he turned to look at Bellezza with a smile. And then he saw something moving past her, behind the boulders that made up the denning lands. Was it a deer venturing so close to such predators? For all he could see was the rack of antlers atop the rocks. Suddenly Zrail froze as he stood watching the moving set of weapons creeping slowly through the rocks. His tail went up high into the air and his posture suddenly changed from 'play' to 'serious'. His green eyes stared, observing, and when he saw Mayita step from around the rocks, he let out a big huff of air in a sigh of relief. When he realized it was her, his body posture changed once more, this time back to the relaxed posture that was his. For a moment there, he had really thought that he would have to make his pack run. He was positive that the set of antlers had belonged to a crazy deer, blood thirsty and oh so very in the mood for wolf meat. How lucky he, and his pack members, were that it was just Mayita sneaking around. Then he put on a smile as Mayita laid down next to a puddle of water, and for a moment, thought about running and jumping in it to splash the female, but he thought again (for once) and decided against it. She didn't seem to be in the playing mood.

"Mayita! Good to see you weathered the storms well. This is Satori and Bellezza, Yin and Yang."

||... Ah yes, that was his new name for the two wolves. Yin and Yang. Yin, of course, being Bellezza, and Yang being Satori. And he would probably call them that until they opposed him and asked him not to (and probably even then, he would refer to the two as yin and yang behind their backs). He introduced the two females to Mayita without a thought and smiled as he lifted his tail, noting the young female's own tail position and challenging it by staring at her tail. And then it seemed that everyone decided to all arrive at the same time as the newest pack member bounded into view. Aoi. Another wolf with a raised tail, Zrail saw, and he stared at the male's tail more so than he bothered to with Mayita's. Why? Well Aoi was male, of course! And instincts told him to fear males more than females, told him that they were more dangerous to his pack, and had to be kept under a more secure watch. But despite all of this instinct drama, Zrail did nothing except stare at the raised tail and smile warmly, welcoming the wolf he had just met.

"Aoi. Yes, we were in the middle of a game. You wanna join in? Boys against girls."

||... A flash in his eyes could be noted as he turned back to Bellezza with a grin. If she was the only female to play, then she would be outnumbered, and surely lose. Again Aoi spoke, and Zrail turned back towards him in confusion for a moment, but then looked around at his pack. It was true, everyone here did make up for a very odd number of wolves. One had antlers. One had the look of the devil (but Zrail would never accuse Satori of looking like this. He didn't judge books by their covers). One was of the looks to be an angel. There was himself, orange and with a mane and jewelry, and then Aoi, black and blue, like a walking bruise. He laughed as he lifted his head up proudly.

"Yes yes, if we were all normal, that would be no fun. In fact, I think it would be quite boring."

||... He chuckled as he spoke, and then darted towards Mayita, chuckling as he acted to splash in a puddle near her, but instead leaped over it and dove into another puddle on the ground, flipping over onto his shoulder and rolling over onto his back. Then he pushed himself up onto his legs, laughing the whole while, and shook, sending not only water, but mud everywhere around him. He shook as hard as he could, trying to reach everyone. Some of these wolves were just too serious! They had to lighten up a bit every now and then!

Yeah... once again, Zrail is an overgrown pup. Y'ALL NEED TO CHECK HIS PLOT POST in the plot board in the ooc 'interact' section. -nods-

The wolf chuckled loudly, his fur shaking. He shifted uncomfortably on his paws as he felt Zrail’s gaze burning a hole through his tail. Glancing from under his eyelashes, he let his tail drift downwards, willing it to be inconspicuous. Again he shook his fur out, growling softly at the prickling on his skin. He suddenly felt sticky. The air was ridiculously humid.
Yes… Odd is normal, normal is odd. He mumbled absentmindedly.
His ears perked up at Zrail’s request.
Boys versus girls? He laughed aloud. He leapt into the water eagerly, soaking his fur up to his chest. The water was cool and refreshing. Isn’t it amazing how he hated the rain, but he was now chest deep in water? Aoi submerged, only leaving his nose in the air to breathe. He tried sidling closer, knowing it wouldn’t work, and reared up in front of Belleza and flailed his paws lazily. He dropped down on all fours and cocked his head to see a reaction.

She laughed and listened to Zrail talk. No biting. That was the only rule? It seemed fair enough. She flattened her ears and giggled as he shook out, and closed her eyes to protect them from the water. Aqua itself was fine, but herself and Zrail had been running around, most likely mixing the dirt up into the water and making mud. Dirt. It was an interesting thing. Burning hot in the sun and ice cold in the shade. It made no sense at all! And what did it smell like? Warm? Gross? Dirty?

Her ice blue gaze turned to Zrail. She felt the tension in the air crackling like thunder, and then it all fell away. Like rain. It hit the ground. A smile crept back to her face. Mayita was original looking. She was bold, yet shy. It was so opposite. A tornado of emotions hit her like two rams fighting for a mate and she jumped back a bit. Her foot slipped at she landed ungracefully, with a thud. For one second, her eyes weren't happy, they were mean. They were hateful and scared and outraged. She was checking to see if she was hurt, in her mind. The paw she had twisted beneath her felt fine, like nothing had happen. She stood.

When Zrail suggested they continue playing the game, boys against girls, she grinned. Though she was out-numbered, she knew she would be able to put up a fight. Maybe win, probably not. They were males, and she was a female. It was obvious that as pretty as she was, she was smaller than Zrail and Aoi. As the alpha male made his comment about Aoi's comment, she nodded. Her breaths were coming easily now, not rigged and shallow as they had been before.

"I think that would be a very good idea Zrail, even though I'm out-numbered. I can so win."

One by one, more wolves showed up and Satori was feeling like the black-sheep; as always. Maroon eyes fixed on each wolf that approached, before simply moving on to the next in an uncaring fashion. She didn't have to care who they were, she didn't know them and until she did she would pay them no attention. A brow lifted at Zrail at the comment he presented toward her and Bellezza. Yin and Yang? A thoughtful noise rumbled in the back of her throat as she mused the phrase over in her head. A gruff snort parted from her nostrils as maroon eyes casted to the side. Yeah so what she was with her fair white pelt! Shaking off the comment and dubbing it as a simple childish remark, Satori moved back from the playing, she was soaked as it was and she saw no point in playing a game with others she didn't know.

There it was, the part of her personality that conflicted with her once childhood behavior. What could she do about it other than simply let it take over. She had always felt disconnected from others, having been shunned most of her life. She watched the group, listened to the proposed game. Girls version the boys. As it seemed Bellezza was the only female that was playing; or so it looked to be that way for Satori. She wanted no part of the game, though it did look kind of fun, she wasn't going to mingle unless she had to. Though if someone approached her first then she wouldn't mind having a mild conversation; so long as they weren't ridiculing her for her monstrous evil appearance.

So many wolves, more than she would like to be around right now. Two males, two females; not including her. Though she would not leave, she desperately wanted to be a full member of this pack, not just a rogue who was allowed to roam the pack(as Zrail had put it when he let her into his lands). Finally she let her thoughts simply disperse, she was beginning to get a headache and she would prefer to think more when she was alone. Slowly she lowered her form the the soggy ground, twisted her spiked tail around to lay along her side as she rested her head on her front limbs. Sinister maroon eyes watched, observed the other pack members in a mild interest to understand and try to not judge them so quickly. Judging upon first glimpse would get her no where and she needed to learn that not everyone would shun her away; atleast she hoped that would be the case in this pack.

All the memories I have are beautiful in my mind,
But they don't feed the hunger deep inside my soul.
And tonight I thought,
I'd be just sitting in my sorrow.
And now I must wonder wonder why.
What did it really mean to you?
I just can't see it anymore!
